Just for the sake of Allah

Presents:
"Just for the Sake of Allah"

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

All praises and thanks be to Allah, who (Alone) created the Heavens and earth and originated the darkness and the light; yet those who disbelieve hold others as equal with their Lord.
It is He who created Us from clay and then has decreed for us a stated term to die, with Him is another time for our ressurrection which none knows except Him. Yet some people doubt the ressurection. And He is Allah(to be worshipped Alone) in the Heaven and on the earth. He knows what we conceal and what we reveal and what we earn (good or bad). That's why He warned us in suratu-l-baqarrah.
"And Fear the day, you shall be brought back to Allah"
May Allah make that Day easy for Us and forgive us our sins! (Amin).

And may the complete blessings and salutation be upon Muhammad! By following Muhammad(salallahu alayhi Wa salam), Jannah! Will be one's abode because He (s.a.w)  said "And He who follows me(I.e my instructions), will enter Jannah! And He who goes against my instruction has refused"
Peace be upon his entire household and His companions and grant every one of us Jannah without punishment! Amin.

What we'lll like us look to go through together  is doing all things لوجه الله i.e for the sake of Allah!

Almost every one of us knows the first Hadith in Forty Hadith Collection of Immam nawawiy by heart "Every action will be rewarded according to it's corresponding intention".
But is this reflecting in all in our deeds? If truly we know every action of ours will be judge and rewarded according to intention! So why then are we doing things Ligayrillah I.e for other than Allah. Can any other give us the reward for our deeds besides Allah??? That's why among what the prophet feared for us the most is the Hidden shirk(Riyah; Showing off).

Our acts of worship must be done solely for the sake of Allah, there's a beautiful narration is Sahih Muslim that tells us how destructive our deeds will be if not done for Allah ;

Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) , who said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah say, ‘ Verily, the first to be judged on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who had died as a martyr. He will be brought forward. Allah will remind him of the favours He had bestowed upon him and the man will acknowledge them. Then He will ask him: `What did you do to express gratitude for it?’ The man will reply: `I fought for Your Cause till I was martyred.’ Allah will say: `You have lied. You fought so that people might call you courageous; and they have done so.’ Command will then be issued about him and he will be dragged on his face and thrown into Hell. Next a man who had acquired and imparted knowledge and read the Qur’an will be brought forward, Allah will remind him of the favours He had bestowed upon him and the man will acknowledge them. Then He will ask him: `What did you do to express gratitude for it?’ The man will reply: `I acquired knowledge and taught it, and read the Qur’an for Your sake.’ Allah will say to him: `You have lied. You acquired knowledge so that people might call you a learned (man), and you read the Qur’an so that they might call you a reciter, and they have done so.’ Command will then be issued about him, and he will be dragged on his face and thrown into Hell. Next a man whom Allah had made affluent and to whom Allah had given plenty of wealth, will be brought forward, Allah will remind him of the favours He had bestowed upon him and the man will acknowledge them. He will ask him: `What did you do to express gratitude for it?’ The man will reply: `I did not neglect any of the ways You liked wealth to be spend liberally for Your sake’. Allah will say to him: `You have lied. You did it so that people might call you generous, and they have done so.’ Command will then be issued about him and he will be dragged on his face and thrown into Hell .”
And the wording, “ So these are the first of Allaah’s creation the Fire will be kindled with on the Day of Resurrection“
Ya Allah!! Protect us from Jahannam!!!

What's more beautiful than being an Haafidh or a reciter of the Qur'an but if it's  done with the wrong intention, it may  turn to the most worse of all things when such deeds will be a cause for someone to see the wrath of Allah?! I'm mentioning the Qur'an because in the University or even the world at large, The Muslim Ummah are striving in perfecting their recitation of the Qur'an. Yea, it is and will really be a great thing if only the intention is right! لوجه الله .
Hope your struggling to know the Qur'an was  because all your friends are Hufadh(Reciters of the Qur'an) and you wanted to imitate them in goodness too?
Hope it wasn't for the sake of competition and prizes??

Wallohi! The Qur'an is so beautiful that there's nothing like it, is it the reward which will be for the parent of the Hufadh or the reward of the reciter of the Qur'an himself! Whom it'll be said to "Read and ascend in ranks as you do read in the Dunya" those are the people who recite the Qur'an just for the sake of Allah. We should also try and check our intentions towards the Qur'an also.

A Muslim who knows what He is doing should be hoping for this kind of reward for Himself and His parent. What else will i wish for them, if not for my parent to have the reward of sitting on a golden throne and a golden crown on their head on the day every deeds will be judge and rewarded with intention!!

Wallaohi... لوجه الله!!!

If not for His sake it's futile!!! see how beautiful this platform of ours is, may Allah(s.w.t) bless and reward all our lecturers. They are sharing with us beautiful messages without any incentive but just with the hope in the prophet's saying that “By Allah, were Allah to guide a single man through you would be better for you than a herd of red camels.” How great all this deeds are but if all this aren't  for the sake of Allah! Hmmm!! We shouldn't expect any reward from Allah.
For every action will be rewarded according to its corresponding intention!

May Allah grant us all Goodness, May He open our doors and forgive our Shortcomings.
Wassalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu.
