"As-salamu alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu"
،،،، The existing protocol is what I'm standing on... Even though Abu-Ubaydah hasn't create any protocol yet. #smiles...
Today's lecture is on Tafsir of the word of the owner of all that exist.. He is there when there's nothing, He's
there when there's something and He'll be there when anything seize to exist again Ya Allah!
Nahm! Allah says:
وان كنتم في ريب مما نزلنا علي عبدنا فاتوا بسورة من مثله وادعوا شهداءكم من دون الله ان كنتم صدقين
And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true.
2-Baqara : 23
In this verse Allah(s.w.t) is challenging the whole being on earth; professors, doctors, philosophers and everyone that if any one is in doubt of what we have revealed to Muhammad salallahu alayhi wasalam which is the Qur'an then
*fahtu bisurati min mislihi* just a verse like unto it you should bring ... then Allah said in the preceding verse that :
فان لم تفعلوا ولن تفعلوا فاتقوا النار التي وقودها الناس والحجارة اعدت للكفرين
But if ye cannot- and of a surety ye cannot- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones,- which is prepared for those who reject Faith.
2-Baqara : 24
We are going to explain just one verse of the holy Qur'an and the verse is in Suratul Baqarah where Allah says :
"Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory)."
2-Baqara : 255
How beautiful are the words of our Lord!
The 1st sentence is *Allahu LA ilaha ila uwa-l-ayu l-qoyum* I.e Allahu the creator of everything, *LA ilaha Ila huwa* there's no God except him *Al-hayu-l-qoyum* the everliving the eternal and the 9th sentence is Wa uwa al-aliyu -l-azeem that "Wauwa"" and Allah is the most high the supreme!
The second sentence is:
Latakhusuhu sinatu wala naom I.e Al-sina means doziness and Naom means sleep
What causes doziness ??? It's sometimes or mostly caused by tiredness like when someone is given a task of guarding something, One tends to get tired which will cause doziness that will later lead to laying down (sleeping).
So Allah says Latakhusuhu sinatu wala naom that No slumber(doziness) or sleep can seize him.
Then the 7th sentence that has relation with the 2nd is *Wala yahuduhu ifsuhuma* I.e guarding the Heaven and the Earth doesn't gives him fatigue Subhanallah!!!
The 3rd sentence is *Lahu maa fi samawati wamaa fil-Ard* that His is what is in the Heaven and Earth!
And the 7th sentence is *wasiha kursiyuhu samawati wal'ard* I.e His kurisiyu I.e throne extends over the heaven and earth!
I'll like to stop here cos I've used lot of our time but I'll like to state one prophetic sunnah which is the reason why I chose this verse for my tafsir tonight.
The prophet said *mon qoraha ayatu-l-kursiyu duburu kulu solati l maktubah lam yemnahuhu an yedhula l Jannah ila l maot* that no one will recite this verse we've been trying to tell each other its greatness (Ayatu l kursiyu) immediately After the obligatory prayers, nothing will be stopping him 4rm entering Jannah except Death!
